Drivers:

All drivers must be over the age of 25 and under 70. (we can cover upto 75 years of age but please contact us for clearence first.)

All drivers must have a clean driving licence for the past 4 to 11 years depending on offence/conviction.  (We can cover most offences so please call us for a clearance first)

All drivers must have a minimum of 3 years driving experience on a full driving licence.

ALL DRIVERS MUST ATTEND OUR OFFICE TO BE PUT ON THE VEHICLES INSURANCE

Identification Required from Each and Every Driver
 

If you have a UK Driving licence:

•  

  a. Full UK Driving Licence:     If you have the new photo card licence you must also bring the A4 counter part as well.

•  

• You also need at least two other forms of identification, one from each of the following sections:

1. Section 1:   Valid Credit Card, Debit Card OR Passport.
2. Section2:    Utility Bill (i.e. Gas, Electric, Water, Council Tax Invoice) OR Bank statement OR Credit Card Statement.   ALL bills must be dated within 3  months of the date you collect the vehicle.

If you have an International Driving Licence

(if you have an international licence you must notify us when booking any vehicle)

We require all of the below identification:

 Full International Driving Permit OR EU Driving Licence

 Valid Passport AND Credit Card

 Return Flight Ticket (if you do not live in the uk)

    Utility Bill OR Bank Statement dated within 3 months of the date you collect the vehicle  from your address if you live in the uk or if you do not live in the uk then from the address you are staying at in the UK. If unable to provide, please contact us.

 If you are staying at an address in the uk we require a letter from the person you are staying with confirming you have permission to use their utility bill as a proof of address. If unable to provide, please contact us.

PLEASE REMEMBER: IF YOUR IDENTIFICATION PAPERS ARE NOT IN ORDER YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HIRE A VEHICLE AND YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT/HIRE YOU PAID ON BOOKING we hold no liability for you not bring the correct identification.

LICENSE CATEGORIES ENTITLEMENTS: YOU NEED TO HAVE THE CORRECT CATEGORIES ON YOUR DRIVING LICENSE TO DRIVE CERTAIN VEHICLES.

Category B/B1 entitles you to drive a up to a 9 seater vehicle (including drivers seat) and a 35cwt Jumbo Luton Van.

Category D1 entitles you to drive a up to a 17 seater vehicle (including drivers seat).

Category C1 entitles you to drive up to a 7.5 ton vehicle.
